Amazon

Stella Marie is now offered on Amazon.com. So far, only 2 of the items in the catalog have successfully synced with their site, but I expect this to change in the coming days (also, I think they've categorized them incorrectly - it's a work in progress ... ).

Very exciting!

Rejuvenating Pear Citrus Mask
[This content is from Splish, Splash: Recipes for the Bath.]

Even though we in the northeast have been longing for sunshine, I invite you to whip up a little in your own kitchen with this yummy, fresh, SUMMERY mask.

All citrus fruits contain citric acid (hence the name), which tightens pours and eliminates dead skin. Pears contain sorbitol, a natural ingredient that helps to hold moisture in the skin (if you have sensitive skin, do not leave this mask on for more than 5 minutes).

2 egg whites
juice of 1/2 orange
juice of 1/2 grapefruit
1/2 cup of pear juice

Use a wire whisk to beat the egg whites until foamy. Add the orange, grapefruit and pear juices and mix well. Spread mask on clean skin and leave on for 5-10 minutes. Rinse face with cold water and pat dry.

They Say the Neon Lights are Bright on Broadway

I love antique stores. My boyfriend and I practically live in them. I have a pretty big collection of enamel ware and old glass bowls. Stuff I use regularly. Mary Ellen Hall, the shop owner of the newest antique store jewel in Providence, just opened her doors and boy does she have some super cool stuff! Antiques, local artists work and .... Stella Marie Soaps and Scrubs!

Drop by the next time you are in the area!

You won't be disappointed!

Oh, Bath Bomb ... You Tease!

Every once in a while, I torture myself and make bath bombs. This is usually fine in the winter months when the heat and humidity don't seep into the plan. So, why did I get a hankering to make bath bombs on the threshold of summer? Because I'm a glutton for punishment.

This time, the bombs came out swell. Adding to the torture! I figure, I can sell them at the market, without offering them as a regular product on my website. I do this with my cupcake soaps and it seems to work out nicely.

All the more reason to find me on the weekends! If you make your way to Design Hive in Cambridge (link to the right), you can go home with a pink sugar or fresh cucumber bath bomb.

Ooo, la, la!
